A.M.L.
by Jacquelyn Reingold
and
A Common Thread
by Jayden Chavez
A.M.L. is presented by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Services, Inc.
These two one-act plays touch on grief, death, and hope. A.M.L. is about a woman whose boyfriend is diagnosed with AML (acute myeloid leukemia); this piece shows her at five different stages of his treatment and how she copes. A Common Thread is a compilation of monologues about grief. It focuses on how we as people can empathize and sympathize even though we may not have gone through the same experiences.
