Flight Plan
A workshop production of a play by a local Santa Fe playwright: Marguerite Louise Scott.
A dark comedy about mental health and the mental health system. Based on a true-ish story.
Celia’s only friend has lost her head. Literally. So what is Celia dragging around in her duffle bag? James can’t eat anything without a certain condiment which, of course, he is not allowed. His only real nourishment comes from his passion for music and Wikipedia. Bernard keeps losing his wife and his own mind. Arianna simply wants to die.
On the “Sunnyland Sanctuary” mental ward, Nurse Hammer and Dr. Fraued (please pronounce it “Frowd”) have all the skills and resources to make their patients’ healing and recovery as insane (and unlikely?) as possible.
