Indian Radio Days: An Evolving Bingo Experience

On December 2nd at 6:30 pm in the Blackbox Theatre IAIA presents the play Indian Radio Days by Leanne Howe and the late Roxy Gordon. Directed by six different students from the directing class, this hilarious satire lampoons the misrepresentation of Indigenous folks in the mainstream media while also giving the audience some serious, biting commentary to chew on. Presented as a bingo game this play takes presents American history from an Indigenous perspective with humorous insight and a message of pan-Native dialogue and togetherness and a takeaway that Indigenous folks are all connected.
