Labinger Productions presents
Over Yip's Rainbows
Yip Harburg, the lyricist behind the iconic songs from the 1939 movie, The Wizard of Oz, as well as numerous others, like Finian's Rainbow, caught the attention of Joe McCathy, in his hunt to root out Communist sympathies in 1950s Hollywood.
Join Yip, his wife Ede, Judy Garland, composers Harold Arlin and Burt Lane and the ever-present Joe McCarthy, as this drama with music remembers all those wonderful songs, and explores that dark time in American history.
