In Shakespeare's Henry IV, Part 1, King Henry IV struggles to maintain his shaky throne amidst rebellion and betrayal, while his wayward son, Prince Hal, carouses with lowlifes, including the charismatic rogue Falstaff, until duty calls and Hal must choose between his dissolute life and the throne.

In this modernized, all femme, “drink in one hand, script in the other” reading, the party never stops when honor is on the line.
