Upstart Crows of Santa Fe presents Youth Shakespeare Festival Santa Fe 2026
The tenth annual Youth Shakespeare Festival features scenes from As You Like It, Antony and Cleopatra, Hamlet, King Lear, Macbeth, The Merchant of Venice, The Tempest, The Winter’s Tale, Romeo and Juliet, King Henry V, I, Part 3, King John, King Richard III, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream performed by actors 10-18.
This year we will have a competitive element: Friday evening teams from Santa Fe schools will present scenes in competition for group most able to follow Hamlet’s advice to the Players (Hamlet, Act III, Scene 2). On Saturday and Sunday there will be scenes and soliloquies, Shakespearean music, dance, and audience participation activities.
