Capital High School's Theatre Arts & Film Department

…offers multiple classes in Theatre Arts including Drama 1- Intro to Theatre & Stagecraft as well as Drama 2- Advanced Acting Techniques and Musical Theatre on a rotating schedule. We also offer Film Classes where students can earn Dual Credit with Santa Fe Community College. Currently those classes include Performance for Film & Media 1 & Digital Film Production 1.

All Classes are taught by Rob Tode, who has been the head of the department for the past 10 years. The department produces 3-5 shows a year and all performances are in the beautiful Bryan Fant Theatre, a 350 seat proscenium arch theatre with a full fly system modified thrust stage and orchestra pit. The theatre is located on the Capital High School Campus.
