Santa Fe Playhouse
Santa Fe Playhouse is a 102 year old community-based professional theater in historic downtown Santa Fe New Mexico supported by a professional staff, and overseen by a local Board of Trustees. Producing out of a 99 seat historic adobe theater, every year SFP produces 6 mainstage productions, the annual Santa Fe Playhouse Melodrama, new work development, and Playhouse Studio, an educational program. SFP welcomes over 8,000 patrons into the theater from northern New Mexico, the greater US, and around the world with a mission creating community on stage and off by holding space for unexpected conversations through intriguing and vital programming.

The MainStage Season brings an Off-Broadway sensibility to the City Different. The remainder of the 2024 Season includes the new road-trip comedy Cebollas by New Mexican playwright Leonard Madrid, and the family favorite You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown.

Playhouse Studio offers workshops and intensives expand students’ sense of possibility in storytelling. By offering classes to the Santa Fe community, we seek to deepen our bonds to local actors and theater artists, whether they are professionals or just dipping their toes in the water of this form.
