Stage Santa Fe
Stage Santa Fe is all about theater, performance, and enhancing the lives of our creative community. Theater is important in all aspects of life. Participating in theater and improv can stimulate a person’s creativity and thought process. The whole experience of participating in theater makes people more aware and more sensitive towards the various issues present in everyday life. It empowers people by giving them the ability to overcome their own reservations.
Theater helps us to explore perspectives different from our own and to participate in different experiences. It broadens our horizons in the way travel can, all while sitting in a darkened theater. Studying improv is studying immediate theatre. Good improvisation is all about conquering one’s fears while working collaboratively in an open and accepting environment. You learn skills that can have a profound effect on all those who learn and practice them. These skills can help to break down the barriers inherent in our day-to-day communication, while strengthening the diversity and integration of our community.
Stage Santa Fe is bringing all of this and more to our community through classes open to all individuals at all levels, and through performances of thought-provoking works and the possibilities they explore. Santa Fe is well-known worldwide as a creative community. Stage Santa Fe is all about collaboration, communication, and presentation. We are committed to working as a member of the creative arts community to further enhance its presence and to provide support to our community at large.
