An evening of scene readings from plays by local playwrights.

Theatre Lovers Club invites you to be "in the show" and join a playwright to read scenes from one of their not-yet-seen plays. No rehearsals. No lines to learn. Just a good time. 

This will be a lively event with on-the-spot casting. All you need do is register and show up at 6:30 pm. As you enter the school, you will be assigned to a playwright as a reader. If there are more readers than roles, we ask that you participate as an audience member. The playwrights will be seeking feedback from both cast and audience members so your participation as either is a valuable part of the event. 

We will do two rounds of readings. Refreshments will be served between the two rounds.

Getting There: The New Mexico School for the Arts is located at 500/550 Montezuma Ave. Building 550 is right across from the school parking lot. Enter through the door marked “550.”

Parking: You can park on the street or in the school parking lot. The parking lot gate will be held open for this event.
