A Subtle Kind of Murder By Dale Dunn

New Mexico Actors Lab, 1213 Parkway Drive, Suite B, Santa Fe

When the past collides with the present, what will happen in the future?!

A Subtle Kind of Murder tells the story of Jane, a writer under contract to adapt a noir murder mystery for the screen. As she struggles to meet her deadline, Jane confronts the abuse she endured during her early days in Hollywood. Centered around the hauntingly beautiful 1947 novel In A Lonely Place by Dorothy B. Hughes, the play examines what happens when the past collides with the present and how that collision may pave the way for an inspired future.
