Santa Fe Woman's Club Theater proudly presents a staged reading of a new play, I Killed Mussolini, by local playwright Michael Burgan and directed by Kathi Collins.
I Killed Mussolini is a play set in both 1998 and 1942. Papa Sal startles his grandson Danny when he declares that he killed Mussolini and spent time locked up as an enemy alien during World War II.
Based on actual events, I Killed Mussolini explores the immigrant experience and how the country reacts to security threats—real or imagined—during wartime.
The outstanding cast includes: Joey Beth Gilbert, Larry Glaister, Tristan Van Cleve, Jeff Nell, Hamilton Turner, Steven Oakey, Christina Smith, and Rachel Kowarski.
