Ironweed Productions presents

An Evening Honoring the work of Sam Shepard

Please join us for a FREE evening to honor the work of Sam Shepard, whose writing has had such an influence on our company and our history.

The event includes readings from Fool for Love, True West, and Buried Child, featuring cast members from those Ironweed productions, as well as selected pieces from The Motel Chronicles, Night Hawk, Cruising Paradise, Great Dream of Heaven, Day Out of Days, and his final book, Spy of the First Person.

Featured readers include Nicholas Ballas, Steve Berrier, Glenn Craley, Chadney Everett, Dan Friedman, Larry Glaister, Leslie Harrell Dillen, Jonathan Harrell, Scott Harrison, Eric Kaiser, Kate Kita, Aaron Leventman, Mona Malec, Dylan Marshall, Dan Piburn, Vanessa Rios y Valles, Matt Sanford, and Kat Sawyer.

Following the readings there will be a reception in the gallery space.

Please note that we are not taking reservations and seating will be open, general seating.  There are approximately 200 seats in the theater.

We hope you’ll join us for this special tribute on the weekend marking a year since his death.

And if you have the opportunity, go see the New Mexico Actors Lab production of Shepard’s play, Ages of the Moon, running through July 22nd.

Thank you all for your support of Ironweed Productions and live theatre in Santa Fe.

Sincerely,
Scott Harrison
Artistic Director
