A Night of Poetry with Kristin Berger, Jean Fogel Zee, and Deborah Casillas

Kristin Berger is the author of four poetry collections: Refugia (Persian Pony Press 2019), Echolocation (Cirque Press 2018), How Light Reaches Us (Aldrich Press 2016), and For the Willing (Finishing Line Press 2008). Her long prose-poem ad collaboration with printmaker Dianne Sandall, Changing Woman & Changing Man: A High Desert Myth will be published 2019/2020. She lives in Portland, Oregon, where she co-hosts the Lents Farmers Market Poetry Series, which has brought over 40 local emerging and established poets to the neighborhood. Deborah Casillas is the author of a poetry collection, Quiet at the Edge, and a long-time Santa Fe resident. She has degrees from UC Berkeley and UNAM in Mexico City, and has worked individually with poets Greg Glazner, Jon Davis, Valerie Martinez, and Lise Goett. Her poems have appeared in various journals, including Prairie Schooner, Carolina Quarterly and Whitefish Review.
Jean Fogel Zee is a Southwest poet and sculptor with a history in dance. Jean combines kinetic installation with the written word. She has been presented by the Historic Santa Fe Foundation in Santa Fe, NM, and was featured artist-in-residence with Berlin’s online zine The Wild Word. Jean’s next exhibit opens May, 2020 at El Zaguan Gallery, Santa Fe, NM.
