THE THEATRE LOVERS CLUB PRESENTS

If you thought you knew this Romeo and Juliet, think again!  Written with a visceral, dynamic emotion that can hardly be contained., most of the play is set outdoors, and with its adolescent energy, sword fights, and youthful passion, it almost demands an open-air venue. This play couldn’t take place in a more perfect setting than the picturesque amphitheater in the Santa Fe Botanical Garden.

So, what's it all about? And why is this the play to be featured in this year's presentation of Shakespeare in the Garden? If this is a question you find intriguing, we hope you'll join us for a lively discussion, moderated by John Andrews of The Shakespeare Guild, that will give you an opportunity to chat with director Patrick Briggs and several members of a Santa Fe Classic Theatre cast who'll offer their perspectives on a production that is sure to make this another season to be relished.

Garden opens at 5:30 pm for light refreshments and conversation before the talk.
