THE THEATRE LOVERS CLUB PRESENTS

Joey Chavez, Theatre Department Chair at NMSA, will discuss their upcoming production of Neil Simon’s Fools.  CBS TV called it "The brightest, freshest, funniest, wittiest, warmest, and happiest to-do on Broadway in many a day."

Leon Tolchinsky is ecstatic. He’s landed a terrific teaching job in an idyllic Russian hamlet. When he arrives, he finds people selling flowers as fish and people milking upside down to get more cream. The town has been cursed with Chronic Stupidity for two hundred years, and Leon’s job is to break the curse. No one tells him that if he stays over 24 hours and fails to break the curse, he too becomes stupid. But he has fallen in love with a girl so stupid, she has only recently learned how to sit down.

If you missed the opportunity to visit the new home of the New Mexico School for the Arts last year, here's your chance to see it now!  The Talk will be held in the Theatre/Arts building (what used to be the World Market building in the Sanbusco Market Center).

RSVP’s are required so we can ensure everyone will be seated.

Doors open at 5:30 pm for light refreshments and conversation before the talk.
