Teatro Paraguas is pleased to host a gathering and celebration of the life of John Hayes, an aficionado of theatre, opera, film, and the literary arts who passed away on July 28, 2021, at the age of 75.

The celebration will take place at Teatro Paraguas on Saturday, September 18 at 5:00 p.m. Friends and colleagues are invited to bring food and offerings, and those who wish to speak about John will have a chance to do so.  Teatro Paraguas will provide tamales, and live music by Melange.

Friends are encouraged to send photos in digital format to teatroparaguas@gmail.com, which will be incorporated into a slideshow.

A mask mandate will be in place, and the celebration will take place in both Teatro Paraguas venues and outdoors as well as indoors.
