Oro, "Goldie" Benson has lived by the Chama River for over 45 years. She writes from a deep empathy as a mother, hospice nurse, astrologer and poet. Her first book of poems, Love, Death and Flowing Water, reflects the seasons of life on the Chama, both wild and serene. Zach Hively is the author of three books of poetry, including Desert Apocrypha and most recently Owl Poems. He is the founder and publisher at Casa Urraca Press, He lives near Abiquiú.
