Tri-M Productions presents
"Warm Airs Whispering" -- A classical vocal recital
Soprano Ruby Nightingale of New York City, and Mezzo-Soprano Elizebeth Barnes of Washington, DC (and formerly Santa Fe) will sing a beautiful classical vocal recital, accompanied by Deborah Wagner on piano and Amy Huzjak on cello.
“Warm Airs Whispering” is comprised of duets and solos by Mendelssohn-Hensel, Korngold, Berg, Fauré, Duparc, and Heggie. The selection of repertoire spans from the late romantic period through to today, sung in French, German, and English. Themes include the beauty and fragility of life and the relationships we choose to share it with. The pieces describe both deep turmoil and pure joy as represented by both inner reflections and parallels in nature.
Originally performed in New York City in January, 2023, Ruby and Elizebeth are thrilled to bring a refined version of the program to Santa Fe.
