He was inducted into the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. He is currently Shakespeare Scholar at the Public Theater in NYC and serves on the board of the Authors Guild.


John F. Andrews recently served on the Board of Directors for Theatre Santa Fe for several years. A native New Mexican living in Santa Fe, John spent most of his career in Washington DC, working at the Folger Shakespeare Library and other institutions. He now heads The Shakespeare Guild. John recently arranged a historic gathering in honor of Sir John Gielgud at Poets’ Corner in Westminster Abbey.
