Just Say It Theater

Just Say It Theater (JSIT) was formed in 2014 by co-Artistic Directors Lynn Goodwin and Dale Dunn to address the need they saw for the young people of Santa Fe to experience the magic and power of theater by writing and performing their own words for a live audience. JSIT’s popular workshops in play-writing and performance with students from the Santa Fe University of Art and Design, New Mexico School for the Arts, and the Santa Fe Indian School encouraged the students to develop their authentic voices, culminating in the dynamic collaborative plays, Left to Our Own Devices (available from Dramatic Publishing Co.) and Borders: Crossing the Line.

JSIT is proud to continue its mission to bring provocative works to the stage with its productions of Nick Payne’s internationally acclaimed play, Constellations (2018), Dale Dunn’s The Big Heartless (2019), Leslie Dillen’s Avalanche! and Dunn’s Sworn to Water (Forces of Nature 2021).

Coming Fall 2023: The Santa Fe Playhouse will present JSIT’s production of A Subtle Kind of Murder, a new play co-written by Dale Dunn and Lynn Goodwin.
