Theater Games: The Fun Part The Audience Never Sees

Theater Games are play-based, structured warm-up acting exercises that encourage improvisation skills, focus, and ensemble cooperation. Expert theater instructor, Talia Pura, will lead the audience through several theater games and explain their significance for performers.

Talia Pura is a Santa Fe based stage and film writer, actor, director, designer and producer. Her plays, films and aerial dance performances have been seen around the world. She has published numerous plays, drama teaching resource books, a picture book and two books of monologues for actors. Prior to relocating to Santa Fe in 2016, Talia taught theatre and creative drama for the University of Winnipeg. She also shared her brand of devised theatre in workshops nationally and internationally.
