THE THEATER LOVERS CLUB PRESENTS
Caryl Farkas, Artistic Director of The Upstart Crows, will discuss her work with youth in Shakespeare’s As You Like It, which will be directed by Brooke Bauer and Ariana Karp.
Caryl has worked with young actors as well as adults in numerous Shakespeare productions with the Young Shakespeare Players, the Shakespeare Circle, and Upstart Crow Productions, and recently directed an adult production of King Lear for the International Shakespeare Center. The Upstart Crows of Santa Fe is a Shakespeare troupe for young people ages 10 to 18 which produces workshops and uncut plays with a focus on understanding and collaboration.
Performances run January 18 – January 27, Fridays and Saturdays @ 7 p.m. and Sundays @ 6 p.m. at El Museo Cultural, 555 Camino de la Familia, (near the Violet Crown Cinema).
Doors open at 5:30 pm for light refreshments and conversation before the talk.
